Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club (PNSC) was founded in 1927 and we recently celebrated our 75th competitive year. The club has produced two World Champions with Katy Sexton winning the 200 Backstroke in 2003 and in 2009 Gemma Spofforth winning the 100 Backstroke.
We offer an opportunity for any child to participate in and enjoy swimming, with the aims of the club to:
- Promote the importance of Water Safety
-
Give each child the opportunity to participate
-
Maximise each swimmer's own individual potential through progressive stages.
Not all of our swimmers are able to make the Olympics, but use the skills learnt as a springboard to other events such as Water Polo, Triathlon, or Diving, but if you have the talent, we can help you reach the top.
